Weatherization 2021

This past November, Enable Madison County County provided weatherization to 82 homes in preparation for the winter months. We had more than 200 volunteers working on the Saturday Work Day, including new volunteers from UAH Emerging Leaders. A special thank you to Courtney Walker with Lowe’s Hampton Cove and our Board Member, Jonathan Rossow, for helping us with our TEMP$ supplies for 2021.

Clients were happy to have volunteers back inside the homes assisting with plastic installation on windows, checking and replacing smoke detectors, and changing out air filters in the homes. Volunteers spent more than 500 hours helping our clients reduce their utility expenses and stay more comfortable during the winter.
