Wheelchair Ramps
Volunteers make it possible to install wheelchair ramps in homes across Madison County for individuals unable to leave their homes allowing them to remain safe and independent in their own homes.
Pre-Build
Volunteers are welcome to join us for monthly volunteer opportunities in the Enable Madison County Warehouse.
Sketch
To begin sketching a volunteer should have been involved in multiple previous ramp builds and will be trained by current wheelchair ramp sketch volunteers.
Build
Wheelchair ramp builds require trained leads and consist of 4 – 10 volunteers. New teams are needed! Complete our group application to get started. Teams provide their own tools for all builds. Enable Madison County provides materials through donated funds.
Repair
Wheelchair ramp repairs are great for smaller teams of 2-4 volunteers. Team should consist of a trained lead along with a few other volunteers. All tools provided by the team and Enable Madison County provides materials through donated funds.
